Transversal training activity with the objective of helping doctoral students acquire the necessary knowledge regarding ways of carrying out scientific communication and exposure.
The purpose of this unit is to educate students about the need to expose research at every level, from the purely professional level to the citizens external to the university world.
Another goal is to touch the subject of dissemination and to learn how to adapt to the audience to whom the information is directed, especially when the dissemination is done through non-written means.
The activity presents how to carry out a scientific publishing from a more professional point of view (by scientific we are referring to any branch of knowledge) and how to carry out an effective oral presentation, dedicating a specific section to the problems of speaking in public.
From a more technological point of view, the most common computer environments that can be used for oral presentations, as well as other resources and useful tools for the doctoral student in his task of elaborating the doctoral thesis are presented.
